Thailand’s tourism industry is expected to see an annual rise in sales of luxury holiday packages and resort packages, a new report has found.

The report also found that this year’s sales, which reached an all-time high in 2019, have been eclipsed by last year’s numbers.
In 2018, Thailand’s average daily number of tourists was 2.3 million.
It was 2 million people in 2020.
The Tourism Ministry said that while Thailand’s population was growing, it was experiencing a slow pace of growth.
In 2019, Thailand had a population of 2.9 million, up from 2.1 million in 2019.
